Ben Whiting

Solicitor


Ben is a solicitor in our conveyancing department. Ben qualified as a solicitor in February 2018 having spent time dealing with residential property, commercial property, corporate transactions, wills, probate and trusts, and crime. Following qualification, Ben has worked as a solicitor in the property department and deals with a mix of commercial and residential property matters, including:

  • Commercial property sales and purchases;
  • Leases – advising both landlords and tenants;
  • Residential and commercial property development including pre-purchase due diligence, option agreements, ‘conditional’ contracts and overage/clawback agreements;
  • Easements and covenants – including rights of way, drainage rights and access rights;
  • Agricultural land sales, purchases and issues;
  • Residential and commercial property mortgages, charges and re-financing;
  • Residential property sales and purchases; and
  • Land Registry applications including adverse possession claims.

Ben joined Allington Hughes in December 2013 as a paralegal having obtained a law degree from Cardiff University

Outside of work Ben is a keen Newcastle United fan and a member of the Wrexham and North Wales Young Business Professionals.
