Mark joined Allington Hughes in 1993 and qualified as a solicitor in 1995. He has been part of the management since 2002.
Mark is the Head of the Agricultural Department. Having strong links with the farming community he acts for a large number of Landowners and Tenants based in North and Mid Wales, Cheshire and beyond. He is a regular attendee at Property Auctions and at the Agricultural Shows across North Wales and Cheshire. He is a professional member of the National Farmers Union, the Country Land and Business Association and the Agricultural Law Association.
Since qualification, Mark has dealt with a variety of property and land transactions as well as providing general business advice and guidance.
Mark is renowned for public speaking and frequently provides talks for a variety of groups and organisations on a wide range of legal issues, in particular succession planning.
Mark represents, promotes and supports the views of Solicitors at a national level. He regularly attends meetings in London and Cardiff. Mark is the Law Society Council Member for the constituency of Cheshire & North Wales and a member of the main board. He is the Chair of the Law Society Wales Committee and a past president of the Cheshire & North Wales Law Society.
Married to a Farmer’s daughter, Mark likes to spend his time away from the office outdoors and enjoys going on family walks.
