DEADLINE DATES TO REGISTER
The Renters’ Rights Act 2025 introduced a new requirement for landlords in England to register their property / properties on a database and provide key information when they register. This is compulsory.
This is similar to the current operation in Wales under the Renting Homes (Wales) Act, however, the penalties for not doing so are more serious.
The rollout commencement date is 15th December 2026.
There will be a different roll out date for each region of England and it is therefore vital that you check the dates below that relate to any region where you have rental properties.
