At Allington Hughes Law, we are committed to supporting the next generation of legal professionals by offering a structured one-week work experience programme for students interested in a career in law.
Our work experience placements take place during August and September and provide an invaluable opportunity to gain insight into life within a busy, modern law firm. Participants will spend time across a range of departments, observing day to day legal work and gaining an understanding of the different practice areas we offer.
What to expect
During your week with us, you may have the opportunity to:
- • Shadow solicitors and members of our wider legal team
- • Gain insight into areas such as Family Law, Wills and Probate, Commercial Property, and Litigation
- • Learn how client matters are managed from initial instruction through to completion
- • Develop an understanding of the skills required to build a successful career in law
- • Take part in informal discussions and Q and A sessions with members of staff
