Now you have instructed us, what happens next? Take a look at the step-by-step guide below

  1. Advise your Estate Agent that you have instructed us to act for you. Not selling with an Agent? You will need to provide us with your buyer’s details and their legal representatives

  2. Complete initial documentation. You will receive a pack from us which includes our Terms of Business, a Sale Questionnaire and Protocol Forms

  3. Verify your identity. You will receive a link via email/text message.

  4. We will issue the Contract pack to your buyer’s Solicitor.

  5. The Buyer’s Solicitor will raise enquiries – we will forward these to you. As they receive the results of their searches and the buyer’s mortgage offer further enquiries may arise.

  6. When the buyer is satisfied with enquiries we will arrange a completion date and obtain a redemption statement from your mortgage lender

  7. We will arrange for you to sign the Contract and Transfer Deed

  8. Exchange of Contracts – the agreed completion date is then fixed and cannot be changed

  9. Completion takes place – ensure that the Estate Agents have the keys.

  10. Any mortgage on the property will be repaid and sale proceeds will be paid to you.
