Pierce Blythen

Associate Solicitor

Pierce is a solicitor in our Criminal & Regulatory Department. He represents clients in both the police station and Magistrates’ Court.

He obtained his Law Degree from Aberystwyth University in 2018 and completed the Legal Practice Course as well as a Masters in Law at the University of Law in 2019.

He joined Allington Hughes in December 2020 as a Trainee Solicitor. In 2021, during his training contract, he became a fully accredited Police Station Representative, before qualifying as a solicitor in June 2022.

Pierce became an accredited Duty Solicitor for the police station and court in 2023, making him one of the youngest duty solicitors in England and Wales. He is part of the local court (Wrexham and Mold) and police station (Llay) duty solicitor scheme. This allows him to provide free and independent legal advice to detainees at the police stations and representation to defendants at Court who request the services of a duty solicitor.

He has dealt with a variety of cases during his time at Allington Hughes, from theft to murder, sexual offences, varying degrees of assaults and motoring matters.
