Helen Alexander TEP

Helen joined Allington Hughes in 2022 as an Associate Solicitor in the Probate team at our Wrexham office.

She qualified as a solicitor in 2014 working in a high street firm in Shropshire specialising in all areas of private client law.

Helen successfully completed her STEP Diploma and qualified as a registered Trust and Estate Practitioner (TEP) in 2020.

Helen has also completed a STEP Advanced Certificate in Cross Border Estates in 2023.

She is a fully accredited member of Solicitors for the Elderly (SFE) and a committee member for STEP Cheshire.

Helen deals with a wide range of matters and her work broadly includes:

• Preparing all types of Wills and lasting powers of attorney
• Providing advice and assistance in relation to estate and tax planning
• Dealing with vulnerable clients
• Creating, administering and winding up trusts whether created in lifetime or upon death
• The administration of estates to include intestacies, complex probates involving inheritance tax issues, foreign assets and assets attracting business or agricultural property relief

In her spare time Helen is learning to speak Welsh.
