Now you have instructed us, what happens next? Take a look at the step-by-step guide below

  1. Advise your Estate Agent that you have instructed us to act for you. Not buying with an Agent? You will need to provide us with your seller’s details and their legal representatives

  2. Complete initial documentation. You will receive a pack from us which includes our Terms of Business and Purchase Questionnaire

  3. Verify your identity and source of funds/wealth. You will receive a link via email/text message.

  4. We will receive the Contract pack from your Seller’s Solicitor and provide you with a report.

  5. We will raise enquiries with the Seller’s Solicitor and request from you monies on account for searches.

  6. Submit request for searches and provide a report on results

  7. Receive Mortgage Offer and provide a report

  8. When we are satisfied with all elements of the transaction we will arrange for you to sign the documentation.

  9. We will provide you with a Completion Statement which sets out the funds required to complete.

  10. Arrange a completion date and we then request release of mortgage advance.

  11. Exchange of Contracts – the agreed completion date is then fixed and cannot be changed

  12. Completion takes place – collect the keys from the Estate Agent.

  13. We submit the Stamp Duty Land Tax/Land Transaction Tax Return and submit payment

  14. We register your purchase with H M Land Registry

  15. When the purchase has been registered, we will forward to you a copy of the updated title information document
